Episode 002 | Catching Up w/ AJ Hawk
During his four years at Ohio State, AJ Hawk was a nightmare to the other Big Ten teams every time he took the field at linebacker. After his senior year in 2005, AJ was named a unanimous first-team All-American, and awarded the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and the Lombardi Award as the nation’s top linebacker. As a result, AJ was drafted #5 overall in the 2006 NFL Draft. With the 2021 NFL Draft upon on, AJ joins the podcast today to share his path to the draft story, in hopes of shining a light on what it is like to be a top pick in the NFL Draft, and what the young men who will be drafted this upcoming Thursday are going through now.
